Coaches at The Swing Factory
Swing Factory Coaches are Class ‘A’ PGA Professional Golfers with Grade A Teaching Qualifications. At final qualification they’ve won The PGA Trainee of the Year Award and Scholarships from Titleist.
They all posses a handicap of 0 as right handed players but train to swing perfectly on their opposite or weaker side. This enables them to perfectly demonstrate in regular and mirror images and gives them a genuine empathy for the student and their learning process. One of our coaches can play off scratch left handed, too!
Continued professional development is a prerequisite and intensive training in the Swing Factory methodology ensures our coaches recognize if the students learning style is imitative, cognitive, kinaesthetic or a combination of these elements. The students’ lessons are then tailored to produce quick and effective results.
Glenn Collins is The Swing Factory Director of Coaching and originally started his golfing journey at Leslie Kings Golf School in the Eighties. The swing he was taught enabled him to turn professional and after his tournament career he returned as a teacher. Originally a right handed player he applied the Swing Factory principles to a left handed game. During his career he’s played off scratch both left and right handed. His dedication to the game is now matched by his dedication to coaching students and teaching the teachers.
Practice doesn’t make perfect, it makes permanent! Only perfect practice makes perfect." Glenn Collins, Director of Coaching
